Every comparison
A verdict, not a feature table
Anybody can print two columns of specifications side by side. That is not what you came for, and it is not what decides anything. Every comparison here opens with who each option is actually for and closes with which one we would pick, and the reasoning is on the page so you can disagree with it.
Where a real answer is "they are not competitors", we say that instead of manufacturing a winner. Several of these pairs get compared constantly by people who have not noticed the two things do different jobs.

Whatever you pick, hold your own keys
Every exchange on these pages is a company holding your coins until you withdraw. That is a fine place to buy and a poor place to store.
Self custodyDecide the size before the platform
Which venue you use matters far less than how much you put on one decision. That part is arithmetic and you can do it in a minute.
