Someone who sells early, and the insult aimed at them for it.
A jeet is a trader who sells quickly, usually into the first sign of profit or the first sign of trouble. To jeet is to dump. The word is used as an insult by people who are still holding, which tells you most of what you need to know about who is saying it and why.
Underneath the name calling sits a real thing worth understanding. Early buyers in a small token are often sitting on large paper gains, and their selling is what the later buyers are buying. Calling that behavior jeeting does not make it irrational. Taking profit is how a profit becomes real.
Be suspicious of any community where selling is treated as betrayal. That norm is not there to protect you, it is there to stop supply hitting the market while somebody else gets out.
A holder who sold at three times their entry gets called a jeet in the group chat by people who are down eighty percent a week later.
