A coordinated push by a token community to flood a post or platform with replies.
A raid is an organized burst of activity, usually a group chat telling everyone to reply to the same post, like the same tweet, or spam a hashtag at the same moment. The goal is to make a token look larger and more active than it is, and to get it in front of people through algorithmic reach.
Raids are marketing dressed as enthusiasm. The people in the raid are often genuine holders, which is what makes it effective, but the coordination is the point and it is usually organized by whoever benefits most from new buyers arriving.
Seeing a wall of identical replies under an unrelated post is a signal about the marketing budget and the group chat, not about the project.
A Telegram group posts a link and tells five hundred members to reply to it with the ticker within the next ten minutes.
