Joke spelling of when, used to ask about a date the team has not given.
Wen is how communities ask for timelines: wen listing, wen airdrop, wen moon. It is a joke about impatience that is also genuinely impatient.
From the other side it is a useful signal. A project that answers wen with specific dates it then misses has a credibility problem. One that refuses to give dates at all may simply be being honest about how software works, or may have nothing to announce.
